Back to a year ago when i take a trip around Europe, first stop is Amsterdam and i book Steigenberger Airport Hotel. The stories behind it that I’ve already book some hostels in every cities i visit and suprised that hostels in Amsterdam is not cheap and they also have a point that we must stay at least for 3 days. I don’t know why so me and my friend decide to book hotel.
Steigenberger Airport Hotel was our second choice because the first is full and this is our last chance to get a room while the schedule is coming near. The price is 113 Euro which is higher about 20 Euro than our first hotel choice. Why we book hotel at Schipol and not Amsterdam central is because we will meet the group the next 2 days at Schipol so we don’t want to move around with luggage. It’s practical.
How to get to the hotel :
When we arrive we don’t know how to get to our hotel, but we read that they have free bus. So we ask to the information and we need to get out and waiting at the bus stop. It’s easy to find, the place is at the right of the exit door. Find the door with this sign, the one near shopping centre, because there is another door. Once you get out, see on the right there are signs of all the hotel there. Just wait until the bus show up. Actually there is also a phone to contact the hotel and schedule on the wall.

The hotel lobby is big and nice. Check in was fast. Nothing to complain. Arrive at my room and i love it so much. The arrangement was very nice.
They also provide us with water heater and iron and it help us a lot. Fyi, we didn’t get it at the other hotel which is our fist choice before. And it’s also wider. That extra 20 Euro is so worthed. It’s serendipity.
I can open the window, enjoy fresh air and the view is great.
This hotel actually have many interesting feature like swimming pool, spa and sauna but we didn’t have time to enjoy that. Breakfast is not included and we didn’t take it because we rush to explore Amsterdam in the morning. We take train to go to Amsterdam and back. Don’t forget to grab dutch waffle and amsterdam map on the lobby when you check out.
